  • MT Billing

MT Billing (Mobile Terminating Billing), allows you to bill for a service on delivery of the service e.g. Subscriptions, users will be billed for each successful delivered messages. Any content required can be billed up to R50 per day. In the event of insufficient available funds for pre-paid users the billing transaction will simply be rejected.

  • WAP/Web Billing

Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) billing and WEB billing allows you to bill users from their mobile phone account for services you deliver to them through these mediums.
VT Mobile provides a number recognised technology that allows you to automatically identify a user’s cell number, automatically authenticating the user and then allowing the user to login without a username and password. This then makes it possible to bill users as they consume content with a ‘click to pay’ mechanism.

  • MO Billing

MO Billing (Mobile Originate) allows you to bill the user on the originating transaction at higher than standard rate tariffs. The value of a mobile originate premium transaction is determined by the value of the access number. Application for this product is for once-off on-demand request for content/services (Jokes, Poems, Ringtones, Videos, Images etc.), get information (Weather, Stocks, Bonds), send in information, create SMS Chat services, entering competitions etc.

  • MMS

Multi Media Services (MMS) allows advertisers and content providers to send more interactive and media rich content to mobile phones.
MMS allows you to directly send content to mobile phones like animations, slide shows, videos, music and long text or combinations thereof. There is no need to send a link to the user to download the content; it is pushed directly to the device as long as the WAP setting of the device is enabled. Some mobile operators provide status on device WAP settings if a database is supplied, however it is a manual process.
Most phones support MMS. It also provides a read receipt, much like email, thus advertisers can see if a message has been read and measuring the success of a campaign.

  • USSD

Unstructured Supplementary Service Data or USSD is a very simple text exchange service allowing you to display menus on a mobile phone, enabling users to interact with these menus. ‘Please Call Me’ message is the e.g. of USSD. Other example is buying airtime using your phone.
USSD is different from other product bearers in that the user is billed on a time principal instead of per transaction. Some of the mobile networks do support Premium USSD services. You can also combine your MT billing technology with USSD to bill users on this product.
